What are ratings and how do they work?
Ratings are a way to grade articles. We encourage everyone to rate articles honestly! This will enable "hot" articles to remain in the "Highest Scoring Articles" box on the left hand side of the site. To rate an article, simply move your mouse over the stars and click.

What are comments? Why should I comment on an article?
Comments are a great way discuss the article with others. You can ask to be notified if others comment on the same article. At any time, you can "unsubscribe" to the article if you wish to no longer receive notification. All notifications are sent via email.
All we ask is to be courteous with your comments. If you see inappropriate comments or the comment is spam, please let us know.

How can I let others know about a specific article on the site?
There are couple of ways to share an article. The first way is to submit the article to a social bookmark site. Another way to share to a specific friend etc, is to use the "email story" link. This will send an email to an address you provide asking them to visit the site and read the specific article.

How can I contact the author?
Depending if the author allows to be contacted, you can click the author's name below the article. This will send you to the author's page, showing all their articles and possibly bio information. There you would see "Contact the Author" link. This will allow you to send a message to the author. We do not give out any email addresses of our authors.

What is RSS? How can I use it?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". RSS allows you to access article titles with a RSS reader without physically visiting the site. It makes it quick and easy to stay on top of updates.
To take advantage of RSS feeds, you will need an RSS reader or aggregator of some sort. Firefox has a built in RSS reader. To take advantage of Firefox's RSS reader, look for the
icon in the address bar and left click it. Click "Add 'RSS' as Live Bookmark" and you're done. To access the feed, click Bookmarks in your file menu and look in the Bookmark Toolbar Folder.

It's good to connect with peers and share ideas, so we strongly encourage you to submit club information to our database. To submit a club, please fill out the club submission form. After the submission has been approved and it will be listed in our directory.
